A case of drug possession was detected in a military unit. The Defense Ministry says it has informed the competent authorities and the person suspected of keeping them has been detained for 72 hours, IPN reports.

An investigation has been launched into the case. The defense establishment is cooperating with the responsible structures to elucidate all the circumstances of the case.

"The Defense Ministry condemns any illegal activities within the institution and takes action against any misconduct committed by servicemen, in accordance with the legislation in force," a press release said.
