Starting with April 1, drivers can travel without turning on the low beam headlights of their vehicles during the day. This is stipulated in the Road Traffic Regulations, IPN reports.
Driving with the headlights on during the day as well is mandatory for the period between November 1 and March 31. The purpose of this rule is to prevent accidents that can occur due to unfavorable weather during the cold period.
Drivers are urged to increase the safety distance between vehicles and avoid risky overtaking. Pedestrians are advised to cross the street in permitted places and make sure it is safe before crossing.
