The Republic of Moldova will attend the 55th edition of the Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. The Moldovan delegation will be headed by Prime Minister Dorin Recean. The 55th edition will be entitled: "Collaboration for the Smart Era" and will take place from January 22-23, IPN reports.
The chief executive will hold a series of bilateral meetings with political leaders and representatives of international companies. In the talks, Prime Minister Dorin Recean will promote the country's economic agenda, with an emphasis on the benefits Moldova offers to foreign investors, the government reports.
At the same time, the prime minister will talk about concerns related to information security and Moldova's energy independence.
The Davos Economic Forum brings together nearly 3 000 leaders from over 130 countries. The Moldovan delegation also includes Minister Dumitru Alaiba and the head of the Investment Agency, Natalia Bejan.
Topics on the forum's agenda include global economic developments, the energy situation, climate goals and how artificial intelligence can help improve people's lives.
