The president of FEA (Fighting & Entertainment Association) Dorin Damir said the statements made by the owner of “Proimobil” Vlad Musteață and the company’s lawyer Victor Muntean are an act of populism following the results of the recent parliamentary elections of which society has big expectations and hopes of major positive changes. He denied all the accusations made against him, saying these are unfounded, IPN reports.
In a reaction published on the FEA’s Facebook page, Dorin Damir notes the situation created around “Proimobil” has lasted for years and has been frequently covered by the media, often with the effort and at the request of Vlad Musteață. Vlad Musteață’s message is aimed at manipulating public opinion and lacks any support based on real facts.
Dorin Damir said he didn’t have any connection with the processes taking pace inside “Proimobil” and didn’t exert any influence on Vlad Mustață and his company. “I do not have any links with the shortcomings in the conducted investigation to which the message authors made reference,” he wrote.
The FEA president noted he didn’t intervene in the activity, structure and processes taking place at “Proimobil”. Following a complaint filed by Vlad Musteață against him, a criminal case was started, but this has been stagnant for about two years.
According to him, it’s not true that Vlad Musteață was recently threatened by him and was told to withdraw the complaint. “Given the made false statements, I explain to Vlad Musteață that the nature of the accusations made against me excludes the dropping of the case following an eventual withdrawal of the complaint. On the contrary, as I was accused, I will defend my rights in accordance with the law and will wait for the investigation to be completed so that my innocence and the false denouncement based on which the investigation was started are proven,” said Dorin Damir.
He made a call for calmness, saying Vlad Musteață’s assertions are based on personal frustrations and populism behind which there are his personal interests.
