Dorin Chirtoacă: Duty of each citizen is to go and vote

“The duty of each citizen of the Republic of Moldova, if they care about the present and future of his piece of land, is to go and vote on November 1,” IPN quoted the candidate for President of the UNION Electoral Bloc Dorin Chirtoacă as saying in a news conference.

The Liberal leader noted that what is happening today can be compared only with the armed aggression of 1992. It is in everyone’s power to change the state of affairs. “The power on November 1 belongs to you. What will be there on November 2 and later depends on you. We urge you to vote the union on November 1,” stated the politician.

The leaders of the member parties of the bloc called on the voters to cast their ballots. “It is now important to mobilize and go to the polls on November 1. After being able to follow all the candidates, some of whom were absent by definition, let’s vote the one who represents us,” said the acting persistent of the Romanian People’s Party Tatiana Potâng.

The leader of the Save Bessarabia Union Valeriu Munteanu stated that the number of those who consider that the country should not remain increasingly dependent on Russia, who are supporters of Bessarabia’s union with Romania, rose considerably. This desideratum is primarily promoted by the parties that form part of the UNION Electoral Bloc and Movement. “We call upon the voters in the Republic of Moldova to take part in the upcoming elections and to volte the representative of the UNION Electoral Bloc, our colleague Dorin Chirtoacă,” said Valeriu Munteanu.

Ion Calmâc, acting president of the National Liberal Party, noted it is regrettable that other mates who say they are unionists hesitate to join the UNION Movement. But this behavior can change after the elections.

Dorin Chirtoacă is under No. 8 on the ballot.
