A German charity organization will provide humanitarian assistance to Moldovan residential institutions managed by the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection and Family. The first consignment has a value of almost €25,000, IPN reports, quoting a communiqué from the Ministry of Labor.  

Representatives of the German organization Humanitave Hilfe Osteuropa - Diakonishe Wenk signed a memorandum of cooperation in the area of social assistance in a meeting with Minister of Labor Valentina Buliga. At the initial stage, the charity organization will donate kitchen equipment and bedclothes to old people’s and children’s homes managed by the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection and Family.

Valentina Buliga said a major goal of 2014 is to strengthen the capacities of residential institutions by improving the living conditions of their beneficiaries.
