Ahead of the winter vacation, as from December 21, the students of primary and secondary schools and lyceums will study remotely. An order to this effect was made by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research, IPN reports.

The Ministry noted the decision was taken in connection with the epidemiological situation and with the increased risk of spread of SARS-CoV-2. By this document, the Ministry instructs the local education division and the managers of general education institutions to make sure that the process of testing the students on the subjects of the primary, secondary and lyceum education should be finished during December 14-18.

Also, during December 14-24, the extracurricular activities inside institutions will be suspended and will be organized remotely only.

The winter vacation of students lasts from December 25 until January 11.
