"Disconnections are mandatory to save Transnistrian energy system" – Krasnoselski

The population of the Transnistrian region will be systematically left without electricity. Fan disconnections, according to the schedule, are announced by the Tiraspol administration. "We can't not make disconnections. Overloaded power grids and sudden voltage jumps cause breakdowns," Vadim Krasnoselski explains.

The Tiraspol leader notes that "electricity consumption in buildings without central heating or gas boilers is rising". According to the local press, which refers to the operational data accumulated from the entire territory of the left bank of the Dniester, 126 breakdowns in the electricity grids occurred in just two days, on January 2 and 3, and as a result 3 227 households were left for several minutes to several hours without light, and in the current crisis - without heat as well.

"The pressure on the network will continue to increase, that's why without fan disconnections is impossible. They are mandatory to save the energy system," says the Tiraspol leader. He added, in the address published on his Telegram channel, that he is confident and grateful to all those who "patiently accept this stage as well".

The administration of the Transnistrian region has worked out a schedule of disconnections, organized in such a way as to minimize the discomfort of residents, Vadim Krasnoselski concluded.
