Leaders of the Moldovan diaspora from a number of countries have launched a public appeal for mobilization with a view to organizing events in support of Moldova’s pro-European course before the Vilnius EaP Summit, IPN reports.
The appeal is intended for associations and communities of Moldovans that are urged to bring together as many participants as possible in public places, near monuments, near Moldova’s embassies and the head offices of national and European institutions in the towns where they live.
The participants are asked to adopt by a statement designed for the authorities of the host country in every event and to call on them to support Moldova in its European integration efforts.
The appeal for mobilization was signed by Dorin Dusciac, France; Olga Coptu, Italy; Ala Mandacanu, Canada; Tamara Schiopu, the UK; Cristina Batog, the U.S; Tatiana and Vitalie Ciobanu, Italy, and Cezara Kolesnik, Belgium.
