Dialogue with EU will continue in Luxemburg
The third round of talks between Moldova and the European Union will take place in Chisinau on June 7-8, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Natalia Gherman said in a conference centering on the last developments in the Moldova-EU relations and the agenda for the next stages of the negotiations, Info-Prim Neo reports.
After the talks that will take place in Chisinau, the Association Council will hold a meeting in Luxemburg, Natalia Gherman said. The Moldovan delegation will be headed by Prime Minister Vlad Filat. The participants in the meeting will assess the results achieved in the dialogue with the EU and discuss the stages of creating a free trade zone between Moldova and the European Union.
One of the main subjects of the talks will be the liberalization of the visa regime for the Moldovan travelers. “After Moldova abolished unilaterally the visa regime for the EU citizens, consistent steps will be taken to institute a similar regime for the Moldovans who want to travel to the EU,” Natalia Gherman stressed.
