The development of the Republic of Moldova is impossible without the industrialization of the country, declared the prime-minister Vasile Tralev at the inauguration of the first specialized exhibition “Car Constructing industry. Metal processing. Tool-Cars and Tools 2006”, which took place at “Moldexpo”. According to Tarlev, scientists jointly with economic agents are finishing the draft of the Strategy on country’s industrialization until 2015, which will set the industrial priorities of Moldova and “rules of the game”. The Prime-minister termed “titanic” the work of the Government towards promoting the Moldovan products both on traditional and European markets. He mentioned in this context about the “gift” of EU, the preferential GSP+ commercial system for 9200 goods, without customs taxes. At the same time, Tarlev states that the Government is “on the last hundred meters” in the dialogue with the European partners on asymmetric, preferential commerce for Moldova. Tarlev mentioned that in order to succeed, Moldovan goods must have quality and origin certificates and the exporters must be Moldovan residents. Tarlev welcomed the idea of organizing the exhibition together with a wide program of seminars, round tables and business meetings. The Prime-minister appreciated the efforts of the car constructing industry in reviving the area and promoting the products on foreign markets. According to him, although the crisis from the end of the last year was surmounted, economic results of the enterprises of the area are still modest. During May 31 – June 3 at “Moldexpo” takes place the first specialized exhibition of the car constructing industry. The goal of the exhibition is to promote products and advanced technology on the local market. Over 65 producers, distributors, dealers from Moldova, Ukraine, Romania and Italy are participating.
