Deputy Prime Minister Nicu Popescu, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, is paying a working visit to Luxemburg and Brussels on October 13-14. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the goal of the visit is to promote the European integration agenda of the Republic of Moldova, IPN reports.
On October 13, Minister Nicu Popescu will meet with his Luxembourgian counterpart Jean Asselborn with whom he will discuss the bilateral cooperation agenda, the European integration and reformation process in the Republic of Moldova and the regional situation in the context of the Russo-Ukrainian war. While in Luxemburg, the Moldovan official will also have a meeting with the President of the Chamber of Deputies Fernand Etgen.
While in Brussels, on October 14, Nicu Popescu will confer with the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell and will discuss Moldova’s European integration agenda with other officials of the European Council, the European Commission and the European External Action Service.
