Vasile Meriacre was discharged from the position of deputy head of Râșcani district of the capital and appointed counselor to the Mayor General's Cabinet of Chisinau. 

Vasile Meriacre is being replaced at Pretura Râșcani by Valentin Vdovicenco. In this regard, the interim mayor's orders have been published on the City Hall's website, IPN reports.

Vasile Meriacre is appointed as a councilor starting August 1 and will exercise his function during the term of office of the interim mayor general Adrian Talmaci.

Valentin Vdovicenco also begins on August 1. Like Vasile Meriacre, he is bound to file his wealth and personal interests declaration during the first 30 days in office.
