Denis Vieru medals silver at Grand Prix in Zagreb

Judoka Denis Vieru failed to win his fifth gold medal this year. He lost the final of the Grand Prix held in Zagreb to Spain’s Alberto Martin Gaitero, IPN reports.

Earlier, Denis scored four victories in the 66 kg weight class, against Daniel Roman Perez of Spain, Dzmitry Minkou of Belarus, Kilian Le Blouch of France and Mongolia’s Tumurkhuleg Davaadorj.

Moldova’s Victor Sterpu (73 kg) and Dorin Goțonoagă (81 kg) are yet to contend at the Grand Prix in Zagreb.
