After a weekend with snow and frost in parts of the country, vehicles on national roads move in winter conditions. According to the State Road Administration, the roadway is mostly dry, but there is ice in places, IPN reports.

Road workers have carried out snow removal and deicing works, using over 2,400 tonnes of salt and more than 300 tonnes of antiskid material.

"The intervention teams patrol and monitor the state of roads, being ready to intervene when necessary to ensure traffic safety. Drive responsibly and after appropriately equipping the vehicles", said the State Road Administration.

According to meteorologists, daytime temperatures on Monday will oscillate between -5 and +1 degrees Celsius. At night, temperatures will vary between -8 and -10 degrees Celsius.
