The State Tax Service said that Thursday, December 28, is this year the last operational day for budgetary payments and collections. On Friday, December 29, which is the last workday of the budget year, no collection and payment operations are possible. Only internal and budget year closing operations can be performed, IPN reports.

The State Tax Service noted that the payments made after December 28, 2023 will be put into treasury collection accounts on the first workday of 2024.

Also, December 27, 2023 is the time limit for the presentation by the State Tax Service of payment documents for refunding and transferring the sums paid extra or incorrectly by taxpayers to other accounts to the State Treasury and regional treasuries.

This way, in order to avoid unpredictable situations, the fiscal authority recommends making payments to the 2023 national public budget by December 28, 2023.
