The water supplier “Apa-Canal Chisinau” received an order from the Ciocana Court to collect a debt of 400,000 lei for water, accumulated between January 2010 and May 2014, from the Bubuieci Municipal Hosing Stock Managing Company. If the debt is not cleared voluntarily in the nearest future, the company will have to implement the court order, IPN reports, quoting a communique of the public utility.
SA “Apa-Canal Chisinau” director general Constantin Becciev said the debt of over 400,000 lei was accumulated also because the housing stock manager didn’t distribute the difference in the volumes of water measured by the branch pipe meter and the individual meters in apartments among dwellers for being paid. Also, the company’s specialists identified unsealed water meters in apartments.
“The problem was discussed with the administration of Bubuieci commune. We hope optimal solutions will be identified and this large debt will be settled,” stated Constantin Becciev.
The Bubuieci Municipal Hosing Stock Managing Company manages a dorm and eight apartment buildings with 920 dwellers.
