Prosecutors will investigate a number of versions in the case of the death of Dan Plesca, the elder son of MP Nae-Simion Plesca.

The tragedy happened in the MP’s apartment situated on Sfatul Tarii St in Chisinau in the evening of March 7. According to the Prosecutor General’s Office (PGO), the preliminary results show that the shot was fired by the victim’s younger brother from a CZ pistol held legally. The victim died on the spot.

Immediately after that, the younger brother of the victim, being in a state of shock, ran away. He is now being looked for by the police.

Contacted by IPN, the PGO’s press officer Maria Vieru said that a criminal case was started over deliberate murder.
