Customs taxes of the Republic of Moldova will be changed
At the initiative of the prime-minister, was decided to create a work group that will present some proposals for the modification of the customs service taxes used in the Republic of Moldova. The decision was taken at a work meeting appointed by the head of the Government Vasile Tarlev and other decision-taking authorities, social partners and NGOs from the business area, a press release of the Government announced.
Vasile Tarlev mentioned that in order to stimulate the entrepreneurs from Moldova, the Government pleads for promoting a flexible tariff strategy in accordance with the principles of the World Trade Organization. The tariffs will be set at a minimum level for the import of the raw material and maximum for the goods that are already being produced in Moldova.
The work Group will be headed by the president of the Commerce Chamber, Gheorghe Cucu. It will consist also of the representatives of the central public authorities, NGOs from the business field etc.
