A liter of gasoline COR 95 during the next three days will be sold for 22.89 lei, by 0.11 lei less than today. Diesel fuel will be sold at the pump for no more than 19.73 lei for a liter, which is by 0.03 lei less. The National Agency for Energy Regulation (NAER) said the decline in fuel prices continues for the nineth consecutive week, IPN reports.
According to the Agency, the price of COR 95 gasoline in the period decreased by 2.40 lei/liter or 9.5%, while the price of standard diesel fuel by 2.24 lei/liter or 10.2%. Thus, the current fuel prices are at the lowest level this year.
The fuel prices are currently influenced both by the decreasing level of Platts quotations, which reached about $750/tonne for gasoline and $700/tonne for diesel fuel, and by the more accentuated appreciation of the national currency against the US dollar.
