The man who escaped from Penitentiary No. 4 of Cricova on April 8 was caught. According to the National Administration of Penitentiaries, the man was arrested in Chisinau near the Dokuchaev Market, IPN reports.

The 34-year-old man is from Pleșeni village of Cantemir district was heading for the Southern Bus Terminal. He was arrested at about 11am and didn’t put up resistance.

Last December, the man was sentenced to six years in jail for property crimes. He served time in jail earlier too. Now he faces three more years behind bars for escape.
