Travelers are urged to avoid the Costești-Stânca border crossing point on Thursday, in the first part of the day. In the period, waiting time will increase due to the technical works that will be carried out on the Stânca-Costești dam, IPN reports.

"According to the information received from the Iasi Border Police, on October 24, between 08:00 a.m. and 03:00 p.m., technical works are planned to be executed on the Stânca-Costești dam. Thus, the Costești-Stânca border crossing point will be temporarily closed,” said the Customs Service and the Border Police

Therefore, participants in cross-border traffic are recommended to choose other border crossing points with Romania, such as Lipcani BCP, Leușeni BCP, Sculeni BCP or Leova BCP.
