Travelers are urged to avoid the Costești border customs post in the first part of Tuesday. In connection with technical works on the Stânca-Costești dam, waiting times at this post can increase, IPN reports.

“According to the information received from the Iasi Border Police, technical works are planned on the Stânca-Costești dam on October 8, between 09:00 a.m. and 02:00 p.m. This can lead to longer waiting time when passing through the Costești border customs post,” said the Customs Service and the Border Police.

Therefore, the participants in cross-border traffic are recommended to choose other border customs posts with Romania, such as Lipcani, Leușeni, Sculeni, Leova, or Cahul.
