Minister of Defence Valeriu Plesca and the ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Moldova, John Charles Beyer, concluded a cooperation memorandum regarding the cooperation and geographic materials exchange between the military institutions of both countries, according to report of the ministry of defence. According to id, Plesca said that the conclusion of the memorandum seeks the experience exchange in the field of cartography and geodesic, participation of the military experts of both states in implementing some joint projects, the possibility to make researches at the Military Academy of Great Britain. According to lieutenant-colonel Valeriu Mija, head of the Military Policy and Foreign Relations Department of the Ministry of Defence, the document supposes public information supply or exchange in the area of geographic charts, registers, trainings of the staff in this area, digital geographic data.
