The Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova and the National Agency for Sport of Romania will cooperate. The Cabinet approved the signing of a protocol in this regard, IPN reports.
“We are in the process of strengthening and improving the cooperation relations with Romania in the field of sports. We already have good experience in this regard. We organized the Rubicon marathon together this year. Our athletes ran from Chisinau to Bucharest. Next year we hope they will run from Bucharest to Chisinau,” said Minister of Education Dan Perciun.
The document provides for the organization of joint activities in different sports events, for the exchange of experience in staging competitions and other events to promote sports. It also provides for the promotion of sports for people with disabilities, the development of sports medicine, the promotion of anti-doping activities and other important aspects, added the minister.
The protocol between the Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova and the National Agency for Sport of Romania on cooperation in the field of sports is concluded for a period of five years.
