Conversion of Moldovan driving licenses discussed in the United Arab Emirates

Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Popsoi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, discussed the finalization of the internal procedures for the signing of the agreement on the recognition and conversion of Moldovan driving licenses with Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The document is to be signed in Chisinau or Abu Dhabi, IPN reports.

According to MAE, during the meeting, the two foreign ministers discussed the development of Moldovan-Emiratian relations in various areas of cooperation, with a focus on developing economic partnerships, attracting investments and expanding trade.

They also discussed the possibility of opening an embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Chisinau, a step that would facilitate diplomatic and economic cooperation between the two countries.

At the end of the meeting, Mihai Popsoi invited his Emirati counterpart to visit the Republic of Moldova with a view to deepening the bilateral dialog and expanding cooperation between the two countries.
