Contest to fill post of Integrity Council member

The Ministry of Justice has launched the process of collecting applications from candidates for the post of member of the Integrity Council of the National Integrity Authority on behalf of the Government. The contest is open to Moldovans with higher education who know the official language, are medically fit and haven’t been involved in political activities and haven’t been party members during the past two years, IPN has learned from the Ministry.

The candidates shouldn’t have been operational officers or agents under cover of intelligence services or informers of these until 1991 and shouldn’t have been tried.

The application forms accompanied by the CV, copy of the identity card and of the university diploma or its equivalent, the letters of intent and recommendation and other required documents should be submitted in person to the Ministry of Justice, based at 82, 31 august St, office 107, or through the email address natalia.graur@justice.gov.md. The files of candidates who meet the eligibility criteria will be presented to the Government for making a choice.

The deadline for submissions is June 12, 5pm. The post of Integrity Council member was vacated by Victoria Iftodi after she was named judge of the Constitutional Court. The post is held for a five-year period without the possibility of renewal.
