Construction of “Satul Trei Iezi” will not commence on Independence Day
Construction of “Satul Trei Iezi” will not start on August 27, on the 15th Independence Anniversary of the Republic of Moldova, as was previously planned.
Interim mayor of Chisinau, Vasile Ursu, has declared at a press conference regarding the cultural manifestations dedicated to the Independence Day of Republic of Moldova that although he previously announced that the project will commence on August 27, he was not properly informed that the entrepreneur did not obtain the required permissions from the ecologists and the water inspection.
According to Ursu, in order to start the construction as soon as possible, the entrepreneur has to obtain the mentioned permissions from the 2 organizations, and must assure that the water resources on the construction site of the park will not be altered. The project cannot start without these agreements.
The idea of the “Satul Trei Iezi” is around for approximately 15 years, but the construction hasn’t started because of different political and economical considerations. The poet Iulian Filip is one of the authors and promoters of this project. Although he recently quit from the position of Head of the Direction of General Culture of the municipal council of Chisinau, Mf. Filip is still the official administrator of „Satul Trei Iezi” project.
„Satul Trei Iezi” will be constructed in the area of „La izvor” park and will have a surface of 110 hectares. The project sees to the reconstruction of the house of Ion Creanga from Humulesti and the hovel from Ticau. The houses of all the writers for children will be imprinted the fence of the park. Also there will be Sunday Academy, for children and parents, and all characters from Ion Creanga’s novels will guard various constructions, such as the Water mill, the Pie mill, the Wind mill and a huge library for the small. And as in any park, there will be numerous amusement equipment, for both children and matures.
The construction of this project will be done by “Satul Trei Iezi” JSC, a company already created for some time by Moldovan investors that plan to recover their investments with the amusement equipment.
