A business entity was disconnected from the supply of water for debts totaling several tens of thousands of lei and illegal connection to the supply. Even if it was warned repeatedly, the non-household user refused to sign a contract for the supply of water and to pay for the consumed water in accordance with the tariff set for legal entities. Now the company will be obliged to also pay penalties, IPN reports, quoting “Apă-Canal Chişinău”.



The water supplier asks the citizens to inform it about illegal connections to the public water supply and sewerage networks through the trust line 022-256-980 or through the email acc@acc.md. The non-payment of debts prevents “Apă-Canal Chişinău” from fulfilling its duties towards other service providers.



The supplier warns that the non-payment of bills does not free those with debts from the contractual obligations and these should clear the debts so as to avoid being sued or being penalized in other ways.
