The Communist parliamentary faction will vote against the 2011 Budget Bill, MP Igor Dodon told the Parliament's sitting on Saturday, Info-Prim Neo reports. “This bill is a violation of the law. This bill is antisocial. It proposes cutting 20,000 budget-funded jobs, reducing welfare allocations and farm subsidies by over 150 million lei. There's something rotten in the governing alliance”, declared Igor Dodon, demanding the Cabinet's resignation. Dodon reckoned the bill was drafted under foreign pressure in exchange for more loans. This, according to Dodon, would take Moldova's external debt to a record high of $1.3 billion. It is expected that the 2011 Budget Bill will be adopted upon first and second readings on Saturday, with a final reading followed by final passage to take place on Tuesday.
