A commission of the Centru district head’s office will carry out raids to prevent and combat street trading. It will draw up reports that will be submitted to the competent bodies for imposing fines, IPN reports, quoting a communiqué from the institution.
The commission includes functionaries of the district head’s office, representatives of the National Patrolling Inspectorate, the Consumer Protection Agency, the Centru Police Inspectorate and other bodies. The street vendors were warned to stop selling illegally. Otherwise, the district head’s office will take measures to confiscate the goods sold on the street and to take away or dismantle the illegally placed kiosks.
The Centru district head’s office called on the residents and guests of Chisinau not to encourage the street vendors and to make purchases only in authorized places.
