Commission for election of President to render report in Parliament
The special commission for the election of the head of state will present information about the work done by it and will make recommendations about the setting of a new date of the presidential elections in the November 18 sitting of Parliament, the commission’s chairman Tudor Deliu has told Info-Prim Neo.
”The legislature’s Standing Bureau will come together early in the morning. We will propose including the presentation of the report in the agenda. I’m sure it will be incorporated in the agenda. If not, I will submit a proposal in Parliament,” said Tudor Deliu.
The agenda of Friday’s sitting of the legislative body contains bills on the dismissal of a Supreme Court of Justice judge, put forward by MP Victor Popa, and on the amendment of the Law on the Judicial Organization, submitted by the Ministry of Justice.
The lawmakers will also examine the bill on the ratification of the agreement to found the International Academy and the bill on the signing by Moldova of the Convention on the Reduction of Cases of Multiple Nationality, which were proposed by Acting President Marian Lupu.
