In the same time, commemoration actions take place in the villages Corjova and Cocieri, on the left bank of Dniestre, but „theu take place under tension as around these villages are installed guard posts, that impede the combatants of the right bank of the river to walk to them. That’s why today many combatants of Chisinau could not get over there, including general Anton Gamurari. The colonel, Gheorghe Grinciuc, noted that in the end „the human victims were not in vain as we managed to get rid at least of the mentality imposed by past regime. We do not count for the country’s leadership, we are like a knot in their throat and we are not supported morally or financially. The names of combatants are used only in political purpose to support parties in elections. Afghans are supported more by the state than we are, who fought for our country”. Previously, the participants at the event made the traditional march for the heroes on the traditional itinerary Square of Marii Adunari Nationala – avenue Stefan cel Mare si Sfant - street Ismail –Memorial Compound, there they participated at commemoration meeting, than they put flowers at the graves of the combatants at the central cemetery on the street Armeneasca and cemetery Doina.
