Thorbjørn Jagland, Council of Europe Secretary General, met with Andrei Galbur, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Moldova, in Strasbourg on December 4, IPN reports.

According to a press release issued by Jaime Rodríguez Murphy, media officer of the Directorate of Communications of the Council of Europe, the meeting covered the recommendations of the Venice Commission, the Council of Europe Action Plan and judgments of the European Court of Human Rights.

Andrei Galbur was accompanied by Justice Minister Vladimir Cebotari and the president of the Democratic Party Vlad Plahotniuc.
