Code of Conduct for election campaign

The political parties and mass media outlets can sign the Code of Conduct for the election campaign from Monday, October 4, Info-Prim Neo reports. In a communique, the Central Election Commission (CEC) says the Code of Conduct is a convention concerning the holding and covering of the election campaign signed by representatives of parties and sociopolitical organizations on the one hand and representatives of the mass media on the other hand. It prevents the signatories from damaging the dignity and image of the electoral opponents. The document can be signed by officially empowered persons. Under the Election Code, the CEC makes sure that the Code of Conduct is signed before the start of the election campaign.
