Coalition 2007 traces violations right at the start of elections
While the majority of polling stations in Moldova started their work according to the regulations, the observers of Coalition 2007 continue to call attention to the violations discovered at the polling stations all over the territory of Moldova, a report of the Coalition 2007 says.
Among the violations, the report names obstructions for observers to travel to several settlements, electoral advertisement in favour of several candidates, and incomplete voter rolls.
In Drochia, a member of the election bureau tried to introduce in the ballot boxes two sets of ballots (6 ballots). The offence was stopped by another member of the bureau.
According to the observers, the voter turnout rate is lower at this hour against the rates recorded in the previous elections, and the atmosphere in the polling stations is calm.
