The patent holders who got the right to unemployment benefit for the period of the state of emergency and haven’t yet collected the money through post offices are urged to collect it until July 30. The sums that will not be asked by the recipients will be transferred back by the payment service provider to the CNAS account and will no longer be directed to patent holders, the National House of Social Insurance (CNAS) said in a press release that is quoted by IPN.
The information about the persons who hold valid patents and carry out activities in such areas as trade and/or service provision in markets and shopping centers that were closed for the period between May 16 and June 30, 2020 in accordance with the ordinances made by the National Extraordinary Public Health Commission was taken from the information system of the State Tax Service.
The unemployment benefit is paid by the CNAS in accordance with the electronic lists, through payment service providers operating in Moldova. If the recipient didn’t choose a payment service provider, the unemployment benefit is transferred to the post office.
According to the General Finance Division, the CNAS transferred 6.3 million lei allocated from the state budget for being distributed to 3,867 recipients of unemployment benefit.
It also transferred 8.2 million lei from the state social insurance budget for paying benefit to 5,005 insured unemployed persons, who also can collect the money from payment service providers.
