After long-lasting negotiations and contradictory discussions, the Chisinau councilors agreed how to distribute the commissions of the Chisinau Municipal Council. The Council will have five standing commissions, not seven as earlier, Info-Prim Neo reports. The commission on budget, economy, finance, local public patrimony, the suburbs and agriculture will be managed by the Liberal Party. The Liberals will have six members on the commission, the PCRM – four, while the PLDM – one member. The commission on construction, architecture and financial resources will be headed by a Liberal-Democrat councilor. The PLDM and PL will have by three members on this commission, the PCRM – four, while the PDM – one member. The PCRM will manage the legal commission on public order and the activity of the local public administration. The commission will include six Communist councilors, two Liberal councilors and one Liberal-Democratic councilor. The other two commissions – the commission on public amenities, energy, technical services and ecological transport, and the commission on education, health protection, social protection, culture, the mass media and interethnic relations – will also be headed by a representative of the PCRM. The first commission will include seven members of the PCRM, three members of the PL, and one member of the PLDM. The second will consist of five Communist councilors, three Liberal councilors and one Liberal-Democrat. The nominal composition of the commissions will be agreed next week, on November 8.
