The Academy of Music, Theater and Plastic Arts is staging the fourth International Festival of Theater and Film Schools “ClassFest” on April 11-17, IPN reports. For the first time, the event will include discussions and debates on the presented performances.
The festival’s program this year shows that the young artists have an increased interest in the contemporary universal texts. During seven days, the spectators will see performances of different genres presented by students from different countries.
According to a communiqué from the Chisinau Romanian Cultural Institute “Mihai Eminescu”, which is the co-organizer of the festival, “ClassFest” is a unique international artistic event aimed at promoting the values of contemporary art, maintaining and developing intercultural dialogue and experience exchange between theater and film schools from Moldova, Romania, Russia, Georgia, Ukraine, Slovakia, Germany, and Poland, and at supporting the young artists by offering them the possibility of presenting the best productions.
Spectators of all ages are invited to the State Russian Dramatic Theater “A.P. Chekhov,” the National Theater “Luceafarul”, the National Puppet Theater “Licurici”, the National Theater “Mihai Eminescu”, the Journal Theater “Ginta Latina”, the Theater “Eugene Ionesco”, and to the Academy of Music, Theater and Plastic Arts.
