Civil Service Center will monitor organization of civil service
The regulations concerning the organization and running of the Civil Service Center - institution responsible for monitoring the organization of civil service in Moldova - were published in the last number of the Official Gazette, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Under the regulations, the Civil Service Center is a central public authority that coordinates the activity of the civil service representatives all over the country. It will also set up professional training centers for the persons that do their military service.
Through the National Employment Agency, the Center will distribute the available jobs to recruits from the civil service and will sign contracts with the employers.
Civil service representatives appointed by the Civil Service Center will monitor and organize the civil service in the territorial-administrative units of second degree and in the autonomous territorial units with special status.
The civil service representative will deal with the applications for being enrolled into the civil service, will verify if the reasons invoked are veridical and will choose jobs in the civil service for the applicants.
About 5,000 people do the civil service in Moldova at present. They pay 25% of the salary earned into the state budget.
