The Chisinau City Hall on May will hold an event entitled “Together for Peace!” at Eternity Memorial Complex on May 9. The program includes a number of exhibitions and a concert titled “Peace to Planet Earth!”, IPN reports.

The exhibition entitled “History through the angle of events and personalities” will give an insight into key moments of history, illustrating the crucial role of dialogue and cooperation in maintaining global peace and stability. The painting exhibition “Together for Peace!” will present artistic creations of students of Art Schools and general education institutions of Chisinau municipality, expressing the aspirations and visions of young people regarding a future based on peace and harmony, says a press release issued by the City Hall.

The concert “Peace to Planet Earth!” will feature beloved ensembles and soloists, namely the Chamber Orchestra, coordinator Mihai Ungur; the band “Millenium”; ensemble of violinists “Divertisment”, Natalia Tanasiichuk, Geta Burlacu, Adrian Ursu and Brio Sonores, who will sign well-known songs, transmitting the powerful message of unity and solidarity. 

“Together for Peace!” is an initiative that brings together the local community in a joint effort to promote humanitarian values and build a better future for the whole mankind.
