Chisinau City hall will stimulate farms to finish in due time this year’s autumn ploughing by awarding money prizes to the best farmers. In conformity with the provisions of a decree in this sense, signed by the interim Mayor Vasile Ursu, the regulation on designating awards for finishing the current year’s autumn ploughing has been approved. Any farm can participate in the competition, regardless of the property type and legal structure. The condition is that they finish the autumn ploughing at a high technologic level till December 15. The winners will be elected by a Municipal commission on the basis of the farm leaders’ reports, confirmed by local public authorities. The prizes will have the value of MDL 1000 to 2500 lei, depending on the surface of the administrated plots.
