The Orthodox Christians, who observe the old church calendar, celebrate the Nativity or birth of Jesus Christ on Tuesday, January 7. On Monday evening, the parishioners are expected to go to the church, where the Divine Liturgy of the Nativity of the Lord will be held, IPN reports.
At the Metropolitan Cathedral "Nativity of the Lord", the Midnight Divine Liturgy will begin at 11:45 p.m. On Tuesday, January 7, at 9:00 a.m., the Divine Liturgy will be officiated by His Eminence Metropolitan Bishop Vladimir.
