Christian-Democratic MP resigns
A parliamentarian of the Christian-Democratic People's Party (PPCD), Adriana Chiriac, has given up her mandate, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Adriana Chiriac has left not only the Parliament, but also the country. She goes to the Romanian city of Cluj, where she has signed a work contract. “I have not evaded, I just left, and it was very difficult for me to separate from the house on Nicolae Iorga street (PPCD's quarters) and from my friends there. I have left because of personal reasons, exclusively linked to my private life. I stay on as a PPCD member, what is an honor for me, and I will try to make myself useful as much as I can,” Andriana Chiriac writes in an open letter published by the PPCD's newspaper Flux.
Chiriac is to be replaced in the Parliament by the following candidate on the PPCD's electoral list.
