Chisinau took one more step towards visa-free regime with Turkey
The Government approved the draft law on the ratification of the Agreement on the Mutual Abolition of Visas with Turkey. The agreement was signed in Ankara on November 1, 2012, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Under the document, the citizens will be able to enter, leave, cross and stay temporarily on the territory of the other signatory state for a period of up to 90 days within six months of the first entry date.
The exemption from visas does not give the right to become employed, while the conditions for studying in the signatory states are regulated by the national legislation.
According to Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Iurie Leanca, the agreement confirms the two states’ wish to contribute to developing relations of friendship and cooperation. The document will come into force after it is ratified by both of the countries.
