With the first frosts or when snow falls, the employees of the General Directorate for Housing and Planning of the Chisinau (DGLCA) municipality are ready to intervene in the courtyards, sidewalks, but also on the streets under the management of the Directorate. The deputy head of the DGLCA, Ghenadie Dubita, told about this at Monday's meeting of the municipal services, IPN reports.

"This year, the DGLCA has also purchased five new tractors, equipped with trailers, brushes, shovels, and five Avant mini-loaders, equipped with salt sticks, brushes and sidewalk cleaning machines. The equipment is ready for the beginning of the cold season and has been handed over to the management of the municipal enterprises for housing services of the Chisinau municipality", said Ghenadie Dubita.

In total, the municipal services have 142 technical units. More precisely, there are 55 tractors equipped with blade and brush, 20 Hako machines, 31 salt-plows and 15 Avant mini-loaders. In addition, the municipal services also have an evacuation vehicle, a bulldozer, four dump trucks and 15 dump vans



"This year, two new minibuses have also been purchased for the workers so that they can be transported in good and safe conditions", the DGLCA deputy head added.

At the same time, according to the information provided by Ghenadie Dubita, the Department of Housing and Urban Planning has purchased 1700 tons of salt this year, which is distributed 300 tons for each sector, and 200 tons are in reserve.
