Mayors of the suburbs of municipality Chisinau were convened at the mayoralty of the capital in order to present the investment needs in suburbs regarding the repairing of kindergartens, schools, health centres, water systems, gas pipelines and roads. According to data of the general finance department, regarding investments in suburbs, there were allocated only 25 million lei in 2006 of the municipal budget. The mayor of the town Vatra, Igor Caminschi, required that those 2,3 million lei paid for supporting fund for other regions of the country to be reimbursed to the town in order to develop the infrastructure. Vatra mayoralty has already project on how to spend this money. The town did not require anything in last two years from the mayoralty of municipality Chisinau and managed with its own forces, collecting annually 4-5 million lei, Caminschi noted. In the same time, Vatra mayoralty collects the most taxes comparing to other mayoralties of municipality. Town Durlesti needs 700,000 lei for repairing the central heat system of the high school „Hyperion” and over 1 million lei for repairing the general school old of 40 years. The windows of the general school fall, because the building has not been repaired for a long time, mayor Veaceslav Nedelea said. Urgent repairing needs as well the kindergarten nr. 200, which was closed last year. The biggest problem in all suburbs is the roads. In Bacioi, there are necessary about 800,000 lei to repair them, mayor Ion Bivol noted, but local public administration cannot repair any of the because of money lack. Capital mayoralty will systemise all needs of suburbs and will require assistance of the government, as there are no sufficient finances in the budget, interim mayor Vasile Ursu mentioned. It is not excluded that local authorities will take a credit, he noted. Data about the needs for development of infrastructure in suburbs of the municipality Chisinau will be announced next weeks, being estimated to ten thousands lei.
