Chisinau mayoralty opens new bus route to close maxi-taxi one
The mayoralty of Chisinau municipality opens, starting July 1, the suburbs bus route nr. 41 and, at the same time, closes the maxi-taxi nr. 185 „ Durlesti town (cemetery) –Tabacaria Veche Street (Railway Pool)”, according to a press release.
The municipality notes that these changes are made on the request of the mayoralty of Bacioi village and inhabitants of the streets Grenoble, Nufarului, Negru Voda and Puhoi, as well as result of the petition of the municipal councilor Eugenia Starcea. The route aims at ensuring the population of the villages Braila and Stristeni with public transport.
According to disposals of the interim mayor of Chisinau municipality, Vasile Ursu, the suburbs bus route nr. 41 will be called “Traian –Braila village –Straisteni village” and will include in the itinerary Grenoble street, Drumul Bacioiului, Braila village, Straisteni village, and on its way back - Straisteni village, Braila village, Bacioiului roadway, Grenoble street, Cuza Voda Blvd., Independentei street, Traian Blvd. On the route nr. 41 there are set, in both directions, intermediary stations „street Nuferilor”, „street Negru Voda” and „street Puhoi”, situated on Bacioiului roadway.
The Municipal Bus Enterprise is to organize the surveillance of the buses on the route nr. 41, coordinate the schedule of their traffic with the mayoralty of Bacioi village.
At the same time, according to the mayoralty, the maxi-taxi route nr. 185 was closed as the transport businessmen involved in transporting passengers on this route did not pay the local tax starting April 2006.
