The Emergency Situation Department of municipality Chisinau shall organize evacuation works of the surface waters of the focus zone and stop slides on 28 March. In the same it will be created, in cooperation with mayoralty of Tohatin, a continuous monitoring post of the situation, according to a program of mayoralty of municipality Chisinau, its implementing starting on Tuesday. Architecture and Urbanism Department, State drafting Institute Iprocom, Drafting Institute Acvaproiect and State production Association for geological exploring AgeoM will start geologic researches and drafting of the zone in order to liquidate the hydro-accumulation and drowning danger and enterprises of electric lines, water and gas management will ensure the supervision of the infrastructure objectives. In the same time, General Police Station of municipality Chisinau has the task to create a police station in order to ensure the public order. Previously, the mayor of village Tohatin, Sergiu Cibotaru, said that specialists of Institutes Iprocom, Acvaproiect and AgeoM, of Municipal Department of Population’s Protection, local authorities of Tohatin have estimated, on 24 March, the possibilities of stopping slides in this area. The deputy head of the Municipal department of Population’s Protection, Aurel Climasevshi, reported in the same day that in order to stop the slides it was decided to pump as soon as possible the water of this zone, and to monitor non-stop of the process it was created observers’ post. More than this, house monitoring was put on owners, who were obliged to announce the authorities about the produced changes and deepening of cracks. Aurel Climasevshi also said that there are examined other active slides focuses situated in municipality Chisinau, but at the moment any of them is not as active as the one in Tohatin. It is not mentioned anything in the program of the mayoralty about recovering the damages of house owners near the focus, as well as the possible evacuation of people of this zone.
