Mayor of Chisinau Dorin Chiroaca Thursday paid a visit to Columna St to see the road sections that are to be repaired. He was accompanied by deputy mayor Nistor Grozavu and experts of the private company “Ruta Dor” that will perform the repair works, Info-Prim Neo reports. The mayor examined a number of schemes and drawings to see how the street will look after repair. According to the mayor, the contract with “Ruta Dor” is to be signed at the end of this week. “The repair works will start next week. The company that won the tender contest has the necessary materials and documents. The works will be completed in three months,” said Dorin Chirtoaca. Only sections of the street will be repaired. “There will be changed two layers of asphalt, the curb and the sidewalk. Parking places will be set up on both of the sides,” said the mayor. The repair works will cost the municipal budget about 25 million lei. “The City Hall earmarked this money despite all the difficulties,” said Dorin Chirtoaca. ”Ruta Dor” is the first private company that will repair a street in Chisinau. Earlier, it renovated the national road Chisinau – Hancesti.
